"Discussion" type is for discussion of a paper published in Engineering Geology. The paper at its current form is below the standard of this Journal. The authors are encouraged to continue their study and eventually submit a Research Paper to the Journal.

我也希望是这样的！我之前是按discussion提交的，论文里没有数据额基本是纯理论性，我估计主编是要我加点数据然后按research article投

Discussion 类的文章在工程地质上是专门对已经见刊的文章有相左的意见时进行的讨论，楼主投的一篇自己的文章，可能不能选成discussion类别，主编的意思是让你在现有的基础上做增加（楼主可能想着投discussion，文章比较短或者内容不丰富），然后以article research的类别来投。
